One hundred years of the revelation to the world of Machu Picchu from 1911 to 2011.

On the occasion of the celebrations for the centenary of the revelation to the world of Machu Picchu, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru Affaro, for through the Embassy and consular offices, the Embassy of Peru in Italy launches a contest of images and ideas which is open to all those who have visited Machu Picchu, directly or with the imagination:

100 images and 100 thoughts to Machu Picchu "

Tell "your" Machu Picchu, through photographs, even those taken long ago, drawings or other images. If it is with the words you prefer to shape the experience of your visit to Machu Picchu, write short comments, stories or poems.

The deadline for entries is 30 October 2011. After that date a commission specially set up with representatives of the institutions involved in the celebrations of the centennial of Machu Picchu, will choose the most interesting materials, which will be shown to the public in conjunction with the board final round at the Italian-Latin American Institute, in December 2011.
